Proportional pressure reducing valves of type DREB6X are pilot-operated; the main stage is a 3-way version. The pilot control valve (DBV pilot stage) has a flow-controlled internal pilot oil supply via P. Operation is effected by means of proportional solenoid which is position-controlled and acts on a spring. This results in short actuating times with minimum hysteresis. Dependent on the solenoid current, the pressure in A (actuator) can be steplessly set and reduced using these valves.
