Safety devices, so-called "devices with a safety function", are used for gas-side protection of the hydraulic accumulator against non-permitted excessive pressures and/or pressure increases resulting from non-permitted temperature increases.

In detail these are:

• Burst disk,
• temperature fuse and
• gas safety valve.

HYDAC safety devices have a CE marking and are shipped with a declaration of conformity.

A gas safety block simplifies the operation of hydraulic accumulators on the gas-side and also provides a means of attaching the above safety equipment using the various ports.
