The Hydraforce 5003970V (5003970V) is a solenoid-operated, 2-port, normally closed, direct-acting, bidirectional spool-type, proportional, screw-in hydraulic cartridge valve designed for efficient control in hydraulic systems. This model operates as a bidirectional metering valve when energized and blocks flow in both directions when de-energized, providing precise flow regulation and reliable shutoff capabilities. The valve features a continuous-duty rated coil and efficient wet-armature construction that ensures durability and consistent performance under varying operational conditions. Additionally, the 5003970V offers optional waterproof E-Coils that are rated up to IP69K for high-level protection against dust and water ingress, making it suitable for use in harsh environments. A manual override option is also available to facilitate easy operation during maintenance or emergency conditions. This model utilizes an industry common cavity which simplifies installation and compatibility with existing systems without the need for extensive modifications.
