This valve operates through a spring-biased spool mechanism and includes an internal orifice between ports 2 and 3. This design allows the valve to bypass all flow to the tank at the bias spring pressure value plus any pressure rise occurring during no-load flow demands. Additionally, the orifice is pressure-compensated to minimize flow loss during load flow demands, enhancing overall system efficiency.
