The Hydraforce 5610004VC (5610004VC) is a screw-in, cartridge-style, direct-acting, poppet-type hydraulic relief valve designed specifically for pressure limiting in common hydraulic circuit protection. It operates by blocking flow from port 1 to port 2 until the pressure at port 1 is sufficient to unseat the poppet. This valve is suitable for use with both mineral-based and synthetic hydraulic fluids that possess lubricating properties. Notably, the RV10-20X model provides a rapid response to load changes while maintaining low internal leakage, making it ideal for typical hydraulic circuits. While it has been noted that the RVD58-20 is a superior alternative for new applications due to its improved features such as better pressure rise characteristics and comparable response rate, the RV10-20X remains a reliable choice for existing applications. The corrosion-resistant version GRV10-20 is not recommended for crossover applications.
