The Hydraforce 5611503 (5611503) is a screw-in, cartridge-style, direct-acting, differential area, poppet-type hydraulic relief valve. It is specifically designed for use as a pressure-limiting device in demanding hydraulic circuits that require low hysteresis and low internal leakage. The RV50-22X model effectively blocks flow from port 2 to port 1 until the pressure at port 2 reaches a level sufficient to unseat the poppet. This design ensures a smooth transition in response to varying loads in common hydraulic circuits. It is important to note that crossover applications should be limited to a maximum of 207 bar (3000 psi). The valve features adjustments that cannot be backed out, preventing the springs from going solid and ensuring reliable operation. Additionally, the hardened poppet and cage contribute to its long life and ability to handle pressure surges smoothly. The RV50-22X adheres to an industry-common size, making it compatible with a wide range of systems and applications where precise pressure control is essential.
