The Hydraforce 5623050 (Material Number 5623050) is a screw-in, cartridge-style, pilot-operated (two-stage), spool-type relief valve designed for use as a pressure-limiting device in demanding hydraulic circuits. This particular model, RV12-26X, excels in applications requiring fast response and low hysteresis. The valve functions by blocking flow from port 1 to port 2 until the pressure at port 1 becomes sufficient to unseat the pilot relief, which then allows the main stage to shift and open port 1 to port 2. It is important to note that this valve is not suitable for cross-over relief applications. Key features of this valve include adjustments that cannot be backed out of the valve, preventing springs from going solid. It also boasts a hardened spool and cage for enhanced durability and offers optional spring ranges up to 240 bar (3500 psi). The design ensures rapid and smooth responses to pressure surges while maintaining cost-effectiveness with its cavity construction.
